Most successful Indian pro wrestler in history, Philanthropist and humanitarian, Jagjeet Singh Hans is a NRI semi-retired professional wrestler, known better by his ring name Tiger Jeet Singh, along with his son Tiger Ali Singh named Honorary Police Officers with Halton Regional Police at the annual Halton Heroes event on Friday, September 16, 2016. Chief Stephen Tanner presented the Tigers with their honorary police officer badges and officially welcomed them as police ambassadors with the Halton Regional Police Service.

The Tigers’ new police status is part of the Service’s ‘community first’ campaign. As officers, we are committed to putting our community first. In their role as honorary police officers, Tiger Jeet Singh and Tiger Ali Singh will join Chief Stephen Tanner and the members of the Halton Regional Police Service in their continued efforts to enhance community safety and well-being across the Region.

“The Halton Regional Police Service provides community-based policing by working in partnership with the people we serve,” said Chief Stephen Tanner. “We are pleased to welcome Tiger Jeet Singh and Tiger Ali Singh to our team as honorary police officers and look forward to partnering with them to promote community safety and well-being in Halton.”
